31.10 Art Hotel Firenze is located a few steps from Piazza Libertà and Piazza Savonarola, in a quiet neighborhood but close to the historic center.
From here, in a few minutes you can walk to the wonderful Giardino dell’Orticoltura and the Stibbert Museum, a fascinating and historically rich place. Walking a few more minutes you can reach the heart of the historic center of Florence, where you can admire the artistic and architectural beauties of this city.
31.10 Art Hotel is perfect even for those staying in Florence for work: a 10 minute walk will take you to the Fortezza da Basso and the Firenze Fiera convention center, the hub of national and international fairs and conferences.
How to arrive
BY TRAIN
From the “S. M. Novella “(about 20 minutes)
When you leave the station, take Via Nazionale and follow it until you cross the Circonvallazione Avenue (Viale S.Lavagnini). Continue on the avenue for a few minutes until you reach Piazza della Libertà; take Viale Giacomo Matteotti and turn at the first street on the left: Via Fra ‘Bartolommeo, until n. 21.
Alternatively, you can use public transport (ATAF bus) (www.ataf.net).
From the “Campo di Marte” station (about 10 minutes)
When you have left the station (Via Mannelli), take the road on the right along the railway line and continue to Via L. Giordano. Enter the Cure Overpass, turn in the cross on the left: Via Fra ‘Bartolommeo.
BY CAR
If you are coming from the highway or from the airport, follow the directions for the “Viali di Circonvallazione”, that is the road that runs along the perimeter of the historic center of the city.
Follow the directions for Piazza della Libertà, then turn onto Viale G. Don Minzoni in the direction of “Cure”. Enter the Viale Don Minzoni, take the third street on the right, Via Fra ‘Maruffi. Follow this short way, you will be in Via Fra ‘Bartolomeo.
IN TAXI FROM THE AIRPORT
The Florence Peretola airport is about 5.5km away from the Art Hotel. In about twenty minutes by taxi (around € 20) you can comfortably reach 31.10 Hotel.
How to Park
In the street
You can park your car between the blue stripes (at a cost of € 2 per hour from 8am to 8pm) in Via Frà Bartolommeo or in the surrounding streets (such as Piazza Savanarola, Via Masaccio).
At the time of parking, please check the day of the week and the times for street cleaning performed by the Municipality of Florence. You can find this information under the “no parking” road signs.
